Daniel Hock is the author of Benesh and Nonni's Letters. After decades of building and running businesses in California and Virginia, he decided it was time to put his imagination to work somewhere other than the office. He has always loved a good story, and writing fiction gives him the perfect excuse to tell a few of his own.

Daniel lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and their cat, Jack-Jack. When he's not writing, he's usually watching British crime shows with his wife, cooking all kinds of pasta—including homemade lasagna that would make Garfield swoon—or searching for the perfect pizza with their son.
